About Me


For over 28 years I have worked in the field of alternative health and well being. I have a genuine aptitude and ease in creating good therapeutic relationships. My work has brought me into contact with a wide range of people facing all sorts of life issues and problems.

I have worked in a variety of settings including NHS, Schools, Hospice’s and an Addiction charity. I have considerable experience in working with problem gamblers and those who have been affected by the impact of gambling harms and other addictions. I work with adults.

 

Supervision

I provide clinical supervision to counsellors /psychotherapists working in organisations and those in private practise. I am Head of Supervision for a large Addiction charity.

I am fully insured and have an Enhanced DBS.

My integrative training included CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA ) Psychodynamic Therapy, Jungian and Creative methods all of which I offer from a Person Centred frame of reference.

As an Accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I subscribe to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling. I am subject to their professional conduct procedure.
